TOP-10 ranking - The largest, most beautiful, most expensive, most polluted, etc. environmental and diesel driving ban zones in Europe
Regional driving restrictions and environmental zones due to ever-higher particulate matter and nitrogen oxide pollution in cities and municipalities are increasingly affecting the European roads. This often much-feared complexity of regulations on driving bans seems to have been in place for a long time.
The Green-Zones portal has therefore investigated more than 200 environmental zones in European countries in order to identify their characteristics, rules and risks in more detail.
Since car tourists have to save money and avoid fines especially during the holiday season, Green-Zones shows in a TOP-10 ranking table the most interesting features, challenges and characteristics of these underestimated zones. The “most expensive”, “largest”, “smallest”, “most polluted”, “oldest”, “newest”, “most beautiful”, “most dangerous”, “less polluted” and “most unusual” environmental zones in Europe are presented.
The TOP-10 ranking table shows to the reader the elements of the corresponding characteristics of an environmental zone. The corresponding ranking of the respective criterion is shown in decreasing order.
In addition to the special characteristics of the zone presented, the name of the zone, the respective country and the required environmental badge or registration are always listed. Relevant links are available for further information. Available as pdf file.
